Love is the Answer to Terrorism as Shown by Antoine Leiris

This is a Facebook post by Antoine Leiris whose wife was killed by terrorists in Paris…

“Friday night, you took an exceptional life – the love of my life, the mother of my son – but you will not have my hatred. I don’t know whov you are and I don’t want to know, you are dead souls. If this God, for whom you kill blindly, made us in his image, every bullet in the body of my wife would have been one more wound in his heart.

So, no, I will not grant you the gift of my hatred. You’re asking for it, but responding to hatred with anger is falling victim to the same ignorance that has made you what you are. You want me to be scared, to view my countrymen with mistrust, to sacrifice my liberty for my security. You lost.

“This little boy will insult you with his happiness and freedom” – Antoine Leiris

I saw her this morning. Finally, after nights and days of waiting. She was just as beautiful as when she left on Friday night, just as beautiful as when I fell hopelessly in love over 12 years ago. Of course I am devastated by this pain, I give you this little victory, but the pain will be short-lived. I know that she will be with us every day and that we will find ourselves again in this paradise of free love to which you have no access.

We are just two, my son and me, but we are stronger than all the armies in the world. I don’t have any more time to devote to you, I have to join Melvil who is waking up from his nap. He is barely 17-months-old. He will eat his meals as usual, and then we are going to play as usual, and for his whole life this little boy will threaten you by being happy and free. Because no, you will not have his hatred either”

I’m so broken up by all the lack of love in the world right now. I don’t often cry unless I really feel immense pain, but from seeing this man’s story and the story of Mohammed (name changed for his safety) the 13 year old Muslim boy who wouldn’t support and fight with ISIS even through torture and then his arm and leg were chopped off in front of young men… To prove a point… I’m just so torn and so shocked at how horrid humanity has been acting.

It truly is a lack of respect for life. Whether you are devoted to Science or devoted to an energy named God, or both… you must agree on one thing: life is precious. That is the point. No God wants death upon the innocent. Nature gives death so life can continue to grow and change. It is not out of spite, it’s out of growth.

If we don’t respect one another and live from the conscience in our heart… we aren’t respecting God, Nature or any form of Energy.

Still runs the hatred that flows in the veins of the misguided, insecure, tormented, manipulated and lost. Those who flee so far from integrity that their purpose is only in fulfilling a broken cause. If disrespect, bullying, cruelty of any form, and murder of the innocent is done with the intentions of greed, power, “feeling good”, and so forth… it is done in the name of Darkness, not light.

Justice means reballancing the universe, helping and assisting the growth of life in a heart-based way. Justice must occur, justice must live on. It begins at home. It begins with each and every human being, it begins when we decide to truly respect one another in the small things, in the little moments, to hold regard and conscience… To communicate with understanding and not jumping so quickly to conclusions or judgement. To truly loving one another with the kindness and respect that LIFE deserves. The lack of respect for the beauty of life is against the Divine’s vision, and for those who break the code and live from such an evil place… Justice must prevail so that the laws of the universe may continue to be respected.

Love does not mean acceptance of darkness, it means the transformation of darkness. Love is not a word that forgives in order for someone to get away with wrong doings, it’s allowing justice to occur without hate but with the urge to create balance.
It begins with us. Shake hands with someone you don’t quite like or you had a silly tiff with. Work on making ammends. Before you judge, ask someone what they really meant, what the intention was… perhaps youve prevented emotional suffering by doing so.

Before you speak crudely, swear at someone, are disrespectful or tell someone to “go die” on social media or in person, take a moment to breathe. Give yourself the chance to be the one who brings peace by truly communicating kindly. If they wont grow, let it go.

At least be the one who inspires the world to grow. Communicate and reach the point where you can shake the hands and come to a level of kindness with five people you don’t quite like. Tell those individuals to do the same for others they have problems with, and tell them to tell those 5. You could be doing so much. Inspire the world. Help me start a campaign… Let’s remind the world that we can live from our conscience.

inspire the world to aspire to live from love.
